CALL FOR PAPERS
Intelligent Virtual Environments (IVEs) emerge as a joint effort of research communities: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Artificial Life (EL) and Virtual Reality (VR). Their intelligence skills generally fall into Intelligent Virtual Agent (IVA), who cohabits with the users into the virtual world (Environment).
This Workshop as part of IBERAMIA 2008 Conference aims to provide a friendly environment to discuss ideas in Intelligent Virtual Environments or closely related topics. Also, we are hope to put in contact the increasing community of researchers in IVEs, that characterizes itself for being very multidisciplinary, in order to establish as well as to fortify bonds of collaboration between its members.

Paper Submission
We invite you to submit papers in Spanish or English related to works finished or in progress that have not been published. Papers may be up to 8 pages long using the format of the Conference (Springer-Verlag). All submissions will be reviewed by at least two members of the program committee. Electronic submissions should be sent to: avera@uady.mx, with "Paper for WIVE-08" as subject.
Publication
Accepted papers will be published in the Workshop Proceedings (CD-ROM with ISBN). Authors are encourage to submit their papers for possible inclusion in a special issue of an Ibero-American Journal on AI. Papers on Education & Training will also be selected for inclusion in the Journal of the ADIE "IE Comunicaciones". Authors will be invited to submit extended versions of their papers.
